"1220 Club" Book Meet (Department of Labor)
Word-of-mouth about LSB had the ladies of the 1220
Club wanting to sit down and talk it out. It was
really a treat to see those dog-earred copies of books
on the table. During lunch members asked
questions, debated plot points, and offered many kudos
to their guest (thanks so much ladies).

This was a quiet, down-home affair, celebrating Ms.
Nesbit's birthday as well as Black History. I spoke on
my writing experience and performed several readings, before
taking questions from the group. During cake and ice
cream, I signed books and chatted with guests.
